The sun rises to-day at 4.52 a.m. and seta at 7.8 p.m.; to-morrow, rises at 4.51 a.m. and sets at 7.9 p.m. ARRIVED. November 17.—Kahika, s.s. (6 a.m.), 1172 tons, Corby, from southern ports. IN PORT. Port Denison, s.s. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. COASTAL. Corinna, from south, Thursday. OVERSEAS. Otaki, now at Dunedin. Due here to-mor-Wajhemo, now at Napier. Due here to-day. Middlesex, now at Wellington. May arrive here on November 26. Joan Craig, from Sydney, early. Waimarino, to load at Pacific Coast ports early in December for New Zealand ports, including New Plymouth. Talroa, due here to load about Dec. 15. JOAN CRAIG WITH TIMBER. Advice was received yesterday that the steamer Joan Craig would be leaving Sydney shortly for New Plymouth. She is bringing timber to the order of the New Plymouth Harbor Board. LOADING OF PORT DENISON. Tlio agents ,advise .that the Port Denison may loading on Monday, and sail lhat night for Wanganui in contlnuetion of her Homeward loading of produce. OTAKI TO-MORROW. The liner Otaki, with 975 tons of general cargo, left Dunedin at 3.30 p.m. yesterday, and should put in an appearance here between 8 a.m. and midday to-morrow. She will berth on the departure of the Port Denison. She will probably take a couple of days to discharge. Her cargo includes 17,500 cases of benzine and kerosene, three motor-cars, 1? cases of plug tobacco, two cases of dressings for hospital use, cases of suitings, shoes, machinery, paints, hardware lines, etc. WAIHEMO UNDER EASY STEAM. The Waihemo, which left Napier at 8 p.m. on Thursday, is proceeding slowly to New Plymouth, and will probably arrive about noon to-day. She will have to await the departure of the Port Denison and the Otaki before berthing. Her cargo comprises 209 barrels of asphaltum, three barrels of orinting ink, 101 reels of newsprint, 83 rolls Qf kraft paper, 25,000 feet of timber, 13,000 eases of motor spirit, 15 crates of glass flasks, and a large quantity of dried fruita and canned fish and sundries. KAHIKA WITH CARGO. The Kahika, which arrived off port during the night, berthed early yesterday morning. She discharged GSO tons of general cargo, Including about 122 tons of flour. She was to sail for Nelson last night. CORINNA COMING. The Corinna was to leave Dunedin yesterday for New Plymouth, via the usual southern ports. She Is due here next Thursday. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
