These countries did not move hastily. They waited til] time had thoroughly tested the New Zealand enterprise, and. when the beneficial results had been demonstrated in thousands of cases, the good example was followed. Great Britain and Australia are grateful to-day for New Zealand’s lead in this State-guar-anteed system of trusteeship for the protection of ’beneficiaries in estates. Keen business minds in Great Britain have made a searching study of the facts and their judgment is that the safe system of the Public Trustee is one of the vital needs of a modern community.
