NELSON COLLEGE LEADS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The Nelson College Cadets have been awarded the Riddiford Cup for the most efficient secondary schools cadet unit in New Zealand. The Scots College Cadets came second and Hamilton High School Cadets third. The trophy is a handsome gold cup, presented by Mr. E. Riddiford. The final examination was made yesterday, divided into three parts—inspection to determine steadiness and genera] discipline, drill and musketry knowledge, while a musketry course was also taken into account. The examiners were Lieut. Colonel Burgess, Major Henderson and Captain Conway, of General Headquarters.
