Roll Stuffing - Dual Voting £5OO REWARD As we have certain information with reference to roll stuffing, dual voting and the wrongful use of names on the rolls, we hereby offer two cash rewards, each of £250, as under:— , One sum of £250 will be paid to the person who, as early as possible, but not later than 3 days after the closing of the rolls, posts to any of the addresses below the largest number of names wrongfully on the main and supplementary rolls, with brief reasons why the names should not be on the rolls, such as “dead,” “not known at address,” “on another roll” (stating which roll), “disqualified by nationality,” “less than a year’s residence,” or any other illegality. Address given on roll must accompany each name. Lists of the names wrongfully on the rolls will be forwarded to scrutineers at all polling booths in the electorates concerned, and anyone attempting to vote under such names will be challenged. The second sum of £250 will be paid to the person furnishing information which leads to the largest number of convictions for dual or other wrongful voting. This information must reach us not later than 7 days after the Poll. All lists received will be subject to verification by competent authorities. The decision of A. R. Atkinson, Esq., President of the N.Z. Alliance, in all matters other than those decided by the Court, will be final. No matter how few names are on your list, if it is the largest received the reward will be paid to you. Names of persons supplying information will, if desired by the informants, be treated with absolute confidence. The £5OO has been specially contributed for these rewards.
