NEW MAGAZINES.
Messrs Gordon and Gotch through the agency of Messrs ‘Thos. Avery and Sons Ltd., forward magazines for review:— An article of particular merit in My Magazine for September is entitled “The Terrible Bandit of the. Wild—-The Wolf and Its Wisdom.” This article describes the conflict between man and his old enemy the wolf, a conflict that irt perhaps one of the oldest in the world. In addition there are many stories and articles Kif interest to both old and young, also an amusing coloured section for the little folk. There are some beautifully reproduced plates of Dutch scene® by Dutch artists, and the issue is magnificently illustrated throughout. The Violet Magizine, the new magizine for women folk, has already met with A very good reception and the Alignst number now on sale contains many excellent stories dealing with varied themes. In addition, there is an article “How to he Tall, Graceful and Strong,” and as the issue is well illustrated it is sure to be in great demand. It is bound in a bright, pictorial cover illustrating its contents.
