WELLINGTON SENTENCES. • By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington , November 14. In the Supreme Court, before Mr. Justice Chapman, Herbert Robert® was sentenced to five yeans’ hard labour for an indecent assault on a male. Stewart Raymond M'Arthur, for failing to comply with a probationary license, was sentenced to twelve months.’ reformative treatment. Alexander Third, on a charge of forgery, was sentenced to two years’ reformative treatment. Norman James Spicer, for indecent assault, was sentenced to four years’ reformative treatment. CHRISTCHURCH’S LIGHT LIST. Christchurch, November 14. The Supreme Court opened before Mr. Justice Adams, who commented on the light calendar of seven cases, including.a charge of manslaughter at Ashburton in connection with the dance hall fracas.
