LADY CHAMPIONS RETURN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, -Nov. 14. The Aliases Hoeft and Shand took part in a welcome home carnival at Jhe tepid baths last night. The invitation race of 150 yards was won by Miss Shand after a good race by half a length. Time, Imin. 54sec. x After the finish Miss Hoeft fainted in the water, but speedily recovered on being assisted to the landing.
