Two Californian counties .apparently reverse the antiprohibition majority in that State, and the revised figures novy show that Los Angeles, Oakland and Alameda voted over two to one in favour of prohibition enforcement. San Francisco voted three to one in favor of memorialising Congress to amend the Volstead Act to permit the use of light wines and beer, but this is butweighted bv new counts elsewhere.
