TWENTY-FOOT DROP.
CURIOUS ACCIDENT TO WOMEN. ONE DEAD; THE OTHER CRITICAL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin. Last Night. Two women, Mrs. Edith Bunce, of Dunedin, and Miss Daisy Wilson, of Evansdale, were walking on* a railway bridge near Evansdale this morning when they saw an eligine approaching. The vi-omcn either jumped or fell through the bridge to the ground below, a distance of over 20 feet. Both were suffering from bruises and shock, and were conveyed to the Dunedin hospital. Miss Wilson died at 6.30 this evening, and Mrs. Bunce’s condition is critical.
