LOAN AND MERCANTILE REPORT. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date Bth instant : Tallow.—Market quieter. Average price unchanged. (Last quotations November 1, 1922: Fine mutton 43s fid per cwt., good beef 41s 9d per cwt, mixed 37s per cwf.) New Zealand Frozen Meat.—Lamb: 11 7-8 d per lb. Mutton: Wether and maiden ewe, light B%d per lb, heavy 7%d per lb, ewe light 6%d per lb, heavy 6 3-8 d per lb. Beef: Ox hinds 4'5-8d per lb, fores 3d per lb, cow hinds 3 5-8 d per lb, fores 2%d per lb. Market quiet. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Ltd. report: On Friday, the 10th instant, our Waverley sale was held in showery weather. A fair yarding of cattle came forward and sold at the following prices: Good forward cows £3 16s, young empty cows £2 Is to £2 14s; a line of 4year bullocks was passed in as bidding was dull and lifeless.
