BOXING.
THE STRATFORD TOURNAMENT. The Stratford boxing tournament, to be held in the Town Hall on Tuesday next. Is' exciting keep interest among the fight fans of Taranaki, and it promises to be one of the most successful held in Taranaki for many years. Some of tlie best amateurs in the province have been matched and the management are sparing no effort to give the public the best possible entertainment. Eight bouts have been arranged, the chief event being the heavyweight fight between Pepperell (Hawera) and Mills (Riverlea), both of whom arc keen to viott and are iu the pink of couditieu.
