TRAINING- YOUNG FARMERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Nov. 8. Replying to a deputation from the provincial agricultural committee, Mr. Massey expressed sympathy -with the request for the use of Ruaknra State far to instruct boys in agriculture after they left school. He said he would consult the Minister of Agriculture and hoped to accede to the request. Rut for the war it was his intention to establish a school of agriculture in the North Island years ago. THEFT CHARGE FAILS.Dunedin, Nov. 8. Tn the Supreme Court Albert Norton, a half-caste Maori, was acquitted on a charge of having stolen a watch, chain and medal. The Chief Justice remarked: “It is very fortunate for him he haa been tried by you, gentlemen.”
