ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUDDEN DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Greymouth, Last Night. Whilst on the point of opening the gate leading into his house, in Hospital Street, to-night, a laundry worker named Jas. Stunt, aged 39, a native of England, collapsed and expired. Hunt, who had been in New Zealand about nine months, saw service in the war, and was suffering from the effects of severe gassing.
FATAL FALL FROM CHAR-A-BANC. Auckland, Nov. 6. Aubrey Wills, a commercial traveller, 45, married, fell off a char-a-banc when returning from the races. He received head injuries and died while going to the hospital.
KILLED BY TRAIN.
C’hrifitchurch, Nov. 0. Roy Williams, a newsboy, was killed this afternoon by being run over in the Lyttelton railway yard by trucks. He attempted to cross the line in front of them, but was knocked down and received terrible injuries, death being instantaneous.
