THE STRATFORD TOURNAMENT. At the amateur boxing tourney, to be held at Stratford on November 14, the principal event will bp a heavy-weight six-rounds bout between L. Pepperill (Hawera) and A. Mills (Riverlea). The following bouts will also he fought : Collins (Stratford) v. Mancer (Bitham), Childs (Stratford) v. Henry (Eltham), Skoglund (Stratford) v. Morgan (Eltham), Hope (Hawera) v. Humphries (Eltham), Blennerhassett (Stratford) v. Dudding (Stratford), Duggan (Hawera) v. McAsey (Lepperton), Colton (Te Worn) v. Graham (Eltham), Brooking (Stratford) v. Foote (Eltham). As amateur bouts are generally free from the clinching of most professional contests a real treat should be provided.
