rpHE AND rpHE yyAY. (23) .—CONFIDENCE. The great reason for the establishment of the Public Trust Office was to give the people an institution nt which they could have ffie utmost confidence for the faithful and efficient ad- ■ ministration of estates. | The State-guarantee of see- . urity and fidelity has nat1 arally encouraged many I thousands of people to have | their wills drawn by the | Public Trust Office and to | choose the Public Trustee as I their executor. From year r to year this confidence in- | creases. The fact that the i total value of estates in the Office has increased from £8,11'2,342 in the year 1911, to £22,364,319 ’at 31st March, 1921, is solid proof of the people s confidence in . ? their own Public Trust Office. The number of wills of living persons now held oy this office exceeds 31,000, and the figures are increasing rapidly. For full information apply to the Public Trustee, Wellington, the District Public Trustee, New Plymouth or Hawera, or the District Manager; Strat’ord.
