GOOD MARKETS AT LONDON. PRICES ADVANCING. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—-Copyright. Received Nov. 3, 8.10 p.m. London, Nov. 2. The butter market is firmer. NewZealand choicest is W’orth 206 s and exceptionally choicest 210 s, while unsalted is quoted at 2165. Australian choicest is selling at 200 s o 202 s and unsalted at 208 s to 210 s. Secondary qualities are neglected. The cheese market is very firm, owing to the small supplies. New Zealand finest white and colored is quoted at 116 s. Cheese stocks at London, Liverpool, and Bristol consist of 95,250 boxes of Canadian and 11,500 crates of New Zealand, compared with 269,000 end 43,300 respectively a year ago. Prospective arrivals arc small and probably prices will further advance.—Aus.N.'Z. Cable Association.

THE CHEESE MARKET. SHARP RISE IN PRICE. “LIKELY TO GO HIGHER.” The chairman of one of the dairy factories in the -Stratford district received the following cablegram yeeter-> day morning:—“Cheese market 115 s« Likely to go higher. If possible instruct your manager to make all cheese deep color, brick red ” The above message was received, from the Wellington representative of one of the very largest frozen meat and dairy produce agents in England. The same authority, writing on October 31, says: “I enclose herewith confirmation of my wire advising you that cheese was firm at 108 s. I have now received a further cable from London stating that cheese is very short and that they advise all factories not to sell, as the prospects for consignments for next season are not very good. In regard to meat, offers have been made for December shipment of prime lamb at The lamb and mutton market is very excited and London advises clients to ship all possible during December or the early part of January, as in their opinion the prices will not hold after that date.” From the above it will be noted that in one week the rise in the market for cheese is no less than 7s per cwt.—• Stratford Post.
