REPUDIATED IN AUSTRALIA. | By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright Sydney, Nov. 2. The Amalgamated Society of Engineers informed the Council of Action that it will not allow its members to ’be pooled info a useless and prolonged struggle. One thousand employees of the Clyde works endorsed the society’s decision. Received Nov. 2, 10.10 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 2. Following the example of the Federated Engineers, the Australian Workers’ Union, comprising 121,000 members, repudiated the Council of Action.
