CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
CONFERENCE AT DUNEDIN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Nov. 1. The annual conference of the New Zealand Chambers of Commerce Association opened in the Town Hall. The delegates were welcomed by the Mayor. A Christchurch remit adopted urges on the Government the necessity of increased efforts towards further economies in public expenditure and giving effect to the recommendations of the recent taxation committee.
