THE STRATFORD SEAT.

MR. MASTERS AT EGMONT VILLAGE. Mr. R. Masters, M.P., opened his political campaign at Egmont Village on Monday night. Notwithstanding the fact that only 100 electors are entitled to vote at the village there was an attendance of 120 at the meetings and Mr. Masters met with an enthusiastic reception. At the conclusion of a forceful address on the important questions facing Ihe country to-day, Mr. Marsh moved a motion of thanks to Mr. Masters for his speech and of keen annrec : ation of the excellent work he had done during his term in Parliament. The motion was enthusiastically carried.
