DAIRY PRODUCE POOL.

OPINION FROM TOOLEY STREET. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A telegram, throwing light on the attitude of some of the linns in Tooley Street towards the Dairy .Produce Export Control Bill was read to the House by the Prime Minister to-day. The message stated that “five of the largest London firms say they have no exact knowledge of the Bill, but if its objects are to secure lower freights and regulate the shipping and distribution of produce through the existing trade channels they are of opinion it should benefit the producers and the industry as a whole by increasing production.” Mr. Massey observed that British firms were evidently not disposed to place obstacles in the way of its passage.
