STRIKE ON STEAMER.
UNREST FOLLOWS AWARD. By Telegraph .—Pres® Association. Auckland. Last Night, The crew of the Northern Company’s steamer Clansman gave twentyfour hours’ notice this afternoon, givihg no reason. The vessel is timed to sail for Mangonui at 7 p.m. to-morrow if another crew can be obtained. It is stated that great discontent exists among seamen and firemen over the Arbitration Court’s recent award.
