The John got away at 10.45 p.m. on Friday for Lyttelton, where she will load a return cargo for New Plymouth. KAHIKA DEPARTS. The Kahika, which arrived from Wellington on Friday evening, completed the discharge of her cargo on Saturday, and got away at 6 p.m. for Nelson. From there Hhe will go to Dunedin direct. ARAPAWA WITH MANURES. The Arapawa arrived at New Plymouth at 6.30 on Saturday onoming from Onehunga. and Waikato Heads. After discharging 115 tons of manure she left at 4.15 p.m. for Westport, where she will load coal for Kalpara. Her arrival at New Plymouth was delayed for about twenty-four hours owing to fogs holding up the barges on the Waikato. KAKAPO ARRIVES EARLY.
The Kakapo caused a surpise by arriving at 5 o’clock yesterday evening from Whangarei. Sha has a cargo l of cement for New Plymouth, and is expected to get away this evening for Greymouth. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. The Rimu is due at New Plymouth to-mor-row from Onehunga. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED. Wellington, October 28.—Maunganui (6 n.m.), from San Francisco.
