FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, October 25. Stanley Falconer Tennett, aged 38, who was injured in a motor accident on Saturday when a party of Auckland orphans were coming to Hamilton for the provincial re-union, and subsequently had an arm amputated, died in the hospital last night. LEVEL CROSSING ACCIDENT. Christchurch, October 26. Mr. J. M : Grath and his wife, recent arrivals from Dunedin, were driving over the Selwyn Street crossing last night when the Ashburton train caught the car, rolled it over several times and threw it clear past the cattle stop. The occupants escaped with light injuries. but the car was completely ruined.
