Otaki, left New York, Sept. 21. Arrived Auckland October 24. Due here November. KAHIKA IN PORT. The Kahika arrived early last evening with 6505 tons of general cargo from southern ports. She will commence discharge this morning, and sail for Nelson iater in the day. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. It was nearly noon before the Rimu, with passengers and 50 tons of general cargo, arrived from Onehunga yesterday. The vessel sailed on the return passage at. 5 p.m., and is due back here on Tuesday. JOHN WITH CARGO. The John arrived at 4.15 p.m. yesterday with general southern cargo. An endeavor was being made to dispatch her for Lyttelton last night. ARAPAWA TO-DAY. The Arapawa was delayed yesterday at Port Waikato, but is expected here this morning with 115 tons of cargo to discharge. CORTINA TAKING BUTTER. The Corinna, due at New Plymouth on Tuesday, will sail later In the day for Onehunga, returning to this port on Thursday to load 14,000 boxes of butter for Homeward transhipment at Wellington. DAIRY PRODUCE SHIPMENTS. The Taranaki Producers’ Freezing Company has received advice of the following allotments of shipping space:— Mahla, loading at Wellington about November 6. 15,009 boxes of butter and all available cheese.
Ruahine, loading at Wellington about November 16, 24,000 boxes of butter. The Durham allotment of 24,000 boxes of butter and 2500 crates of cheese for London has been cancelled, but this boat Is available for butter and cheese intended for Manchester and Glasgow.
