DOUBLE THE PRE-WAR PRICE.

By Telegraph.-—Press Wellington, Last Night. A meeting of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association was held to-day to consider tenders for next year's supply of newsprint paper. The meeting expressed ke«n disappointment that no reduction had been made in the cost of newsprint, which, as disclosed by the tenders, show's an increase of 100 per cent, over pre-war prices.
