NEW WOOL SEASON.
SATISFACTORY PRICES. It is reported that a fair amount of selling of new season’s wool has taken place in South Canterbury at a price that must be satisfactory to fine wool growers. One or two extensive merino clips have been sold at up to 18*d per lb; pieces, etc., included. This represents a soynd appreciation on last year's values. It is not definitely .stated where the orders are from, but it is understood they are from abroad.
