HERMES WITH BENZINE. The Dutch motor-ship Hermes, due here next week, has 100,000 cases of Sumatra benzine, shipped at Singapore, to distribute at New Zealand ports, but the amount of the consingment for New Plymouth has not yet been communicated to the New Plymouth agents. THE RIMU LATE. The Rimu did not arrive at New Plymouth till 11.45 a.m. yesterday. She brought passengers and 300 tons of cargo from Onehunga, returning north last evening. The vessel is due here again on Wednesday, a. day later, owing to Monday being Labor Day. KUROW DISCHARGED. The work of discharging the Kurow’s cement cargo was completed last night, and the vessel is due to sail at 7 o’clock this morning for Westport.
IRON CHIEF TO SAIL. The Iron Chief, which has been in port for a week discharging a coal cargo for the Railway Department, Is to sail on return to Newcastle at 11 a.m. to-day. KAHIKA UN ROUTE. Latest advice indicates that the Kahika was to leave Dunedin yesterday for New Plymouth, via. Oamaru. Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. After discharging general cargo here the vessel sails for Nelson. CORINNA'S NEXT TRIP. To leave Dunedin on Tuesday, the Corinna Is due at New Plymouth, via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson, a week later with general cargo. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
