WANGANUI SHOW.
The Wanganui Agricultural Association’s grand annual show will be held at the Wan ganui racecourse on Wednesday and Thursday, November 8 and 9 next. The sched- ; u’e is a very attractive one, with valuable i trophies and good prize-money offering r or 1 exhibitors. There are a wide number of classes for horses, cattle, sheep and p'gs, and the home industries section, which includes needlework, cooking, soldiers' exhibits, school children’s work, etc. For both days of the show an attractive programme of ring events has been arranged, a feature being the West. Coast champion hunters’ jumping competition, which, in addition to trophies, carries £4O in prize-money. Entries for home industries, schools section, needlework, etc., close on October 28, while entries of all stock classes close on November 3. In conjunction with the show, the Wanganui Canine Society’s annual exhibition will be held, for which entries also close on November 3.
