THE PEOPLE’S. LAST NIGHT OF “THE DANGEROUS LITTLE DEMON.” Screening finally to-night at the People’s is the dazzling zippy comedydrama “The Dangerous Little Demon, starring the charming young actress Marie Prevost. In this picture ’.he is seen as a poor little millionaire s daughter, face full o’beauty, head buzzin’ with brains, trying to get along in her world of love-struck swains. It is a photoplay that whizzes along at comedy speed with “the mischievous little devil of the screen” putting the charm kick into a whirlwind of romance. The picture is fascinating and rich in humour, while Marie’s smile makes her seem always on the verge of flirtation. The final screening is announced for to-night and prices of admission are advertised as usual.

“A SPLENDID HAZARD.” The latest of Harold MacG rath’s fascinating adventure stories to be screened is “A Splendid Hazard” the photoplay version of which shows to-night and to-morrow at Everybody’s. As in the case of the previous MrcGrath novels transmitted to the screen “A Splendid Hazard” has proved to be ideal photoplay material. It is a colourful tale of ’ love and adventure, brimful of action and set in France, America and the romantic and picturesque isle of Corsica where a gripping struggle for buried treasure takes place. The leading male role, that of the ruthless, ambitious treasure-seeker, Karl Breitman, is enacted with rare ekill by Henry B. Walthall. Rosemary Tlieby brings grace beauty and distinction to the character of'Hedda Gobert, the beautiful prima donna whose love Breitman uses as a stepping stone to the achievement of his ambition. The supports include the sixth episode of “Winners of the West.”
