Prices at Westfield to-day wore:— Beef. —Average yardlr:/ and steady competition; prices firm at late rates: extra choice ox to 25s per 1001 b.. choice and prime 21a to 245, good 18s to 20s; choice heifer and young cow ISs to 225, other 13s to 18s. Sheep.—Medium yarding, and prices Ann at last week’s rates; prime heavy woolly wethers to 235, methtnn prime 208 to 31s, others 23s to 28?. prime shorn wethers, heavy 31s, medium prime 26s to 28s, lighter and unfinished 19s 8d to 245; hoggets, best woolly 27s Bd, other 18s to 255, prlime shorn hoggets 24s to 255, lighter £1 to 225, prime woolly ewes 27s to 295, other 22» to 255; prime shorn ewes 24s to 25a 9d. lighter £1 Is 6d to 235. Spring Lambs.—A small yarding sold readily at advanced prices of 15s to 31s 6d. Calves.—Average yarding and prices scarcely as good as last week: runners £2 10s to £4, heavy vealers £2 10s to £.3. medium 30s to £2, young and fresh dropped 4s to 10s. Pigs.—Very heavy yarding, and prices easier; choppers £2 to £3, baconers £2 12s to £3 Is, heavy porkers £2 5s to £2 12s fid. lighter £1 15s to £2 ss, stores £1 5s to £1 10s, weaners 10s to £l.
