£416,000 FOR A BOY.
SON OF LORD ASTOR. The Hon. John Jacob Astor, the four, year-old son of Viscount Astor and Viscountess Astor, M.P., will benefit to the extent of more than £410,000 as the result of a recent order of the New York Supreme Court. The money represents the boy’s share in the trust fund of nearly £5,000,000 created by his grandfather, the late Viscount Astor, for certain of his children and grandchildren. It will be handed over in the form of securities to Lord Astor as the infant’s guardian.
