After hearing arguments, the Federal Courts extended the temporary restraining orders against the Attorney-General’s ruling respecting liquor in American and foreign ships until the Court hands down a formal permanent opinion shortly.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. NO LIQUOR ON VENTURA. Received Oct. 18, 11 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 18. Shortly before the American mail steamer Ventura sailed to-day, all intoxicating liquor intended for consumption during the voyage was removed.
