At Newhaven, Connecticut, Kirkwood and Hagen defeated Sweetser and Bobby Andrew over eighteen holes 2 up and 1. ELTHAM CLUB. The members of the Eltham Golf Club held a very enjoyable dance on Thursday night, and during an interval the Mayor presented to the winners of the various championships the silver cups, won as follow: Men’s Championship.—Seniors: J. Quin; run-ner-up, L. Quin. Juniors: H. G. McDonald; runner-up, A. Q. Anderson. Ladles’ Championships.—Seniors: Miss H. Wilson: runner-up. Miss Lucy Quin. Juniors: Mrs. P. de Launay; runner-up, Miss Waters. The prizes for the various club competitions were also presented, and the members of ttye club presented a case of pipes to Mr. W. I>. Ross, in recognition of the valuable work he had done for the club.
