A VERY STRONG TONE. SHORTAGE OF STOCKS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Oct. 15, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 14. The cheese market appears very strong. Stocks in this country are only about half those in October, 1921. The production in Canada this season is estimated to be 30 per cent, below last season, and there is a definite shortage in the United States. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
