A STATEMENT CONTRADICTED.
(To the* Editor.) Sir, —In your issue of the 9th Inst. Mr. Corrigan is reported to have stated at a meeting of dairy producers at Wanganui that a certain firm offered Stratford Is B%d per io. for their output, whilst on the same day the .best offer Kakaramea could get from the same firm was Is 7%d. If other statements made by Mr. Corrigan in regard ? to the proposed control scheme are on a par with the foregoing, it is small wonder that the scheme is meeting with determined opposition, for as far as the offer to Stratford is concerned there Is not one tittle of truth in the statement.—l am, etc., FRANK HANFORD, Chairman Stratford Dairy Co., Ltd.
