PLOT TO KILL DR. RATHENAU. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 10, 7.35 p.m. Berlin, Oct. 9. The Rathenau conspiracy trial has been resumed. The President of the Court commented severely on the attempt to kill Guenther, one of the accused, by sending him poisoned sweets. Guenther, cross-examined, caused a sensation in Court when he admitted he bad been in correspondence with Ludendorff and Helfferich for two years.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
