Received October 8, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 6. At. the Antwerp wool sales Australian wool continued to meet an anlunated demand, and prices remained five per cent, higher than tho last London closing rates. Twenty-one thousand bales were offered and twenty thousand sold. WHEAT CARGOES. Received October 8, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 6. Wheat cargoes are firmly held. Manitoba is quoted at sixpence to a shilling higher. Steamer parcels are firm and have advanced a shilling. Speculators were buying freely, but a reaction set in and prices closed sixpence higher.
