AMBUSH BY REBELS. Received October 9, 1.5 a.m. London, Oct. 8. One hundred and fifty Irregulars, equipped with six machine guns, ambushed a small party of National troops near Cassir. They killed Captain Walsh and another, and the rest surrendered. A large force of Nationals overtook the retreating Irregulars and captured six. The unidentified bodies of three young men were found shot on the roadside at Clondalkin, near Dublin.
