Although it is early yet to make any accurate forecast regarding the prospects of the coming fruitgrowing season in Hawke’s Bay, the general impression among growers is that if all goes well a first-class yield may be looked for. A Hastings grower recently oppressed the opinion that if the weather held good there would probably be too much fruit for the district to carry, and this would probably mean that the fruit would be very much cheaper than h»*t season.
