Soprano Solo: Miss Eaton:BB, Miss McLean 85, Mrs. Tarrant 82, Wanganui. ■ Piano Solo (under 12): Leon Mcßeady (Hunterville) 81, Gwen Haydon 80, Phillis Royd 78 (both of Wanganui). Impromptu Speech: Minnell (Wanganui). Recital with Musical Accompaniment: May McDonald (Wellington) 173, Mies Gammon (Marton) 169, Miss Robertson (Palmerston North) 168. Character Recital: Miss McDonald 168, Miss Gammon (Marton) and Miss Mclntyre (Wanganui) 158 each.
