DAIRY POOL BILL.

A PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE. TWO TARANAKI MEMBERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington. Last Night. In the House to-day the Hon. W. Nosworthy gave notice of his intention to set up a special committee to consider the Dairy Export Control Bill, the committee to consist of the following: Messrs. O. Hawken, V. H. Reed, H. Poland, F. F. Hockly, R. Masters, H. E. Holland, A. D. McLeod, A. Hamilton. E. Newman and the mover. (By Wire—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. When the Minister of Agriculture gave notice in the House to-day of his intention to move for the appointment of a committee to consider the proposed Dairy Produce Export Control Bill, the Leader of the Opposition (Mr. T. M. Wilford) asked whether the Minister would not be prepared to add the name of Mr. S. G. Smith (Taranaki), since Taranaki was a large dairying district. The Hon. W. Nosworthy replied that in his opinion the committee was large enough and representative enough. If he had erred at all it had beer in the direction of making the committee too large. He preferred not to add to it. Two Taranaki members, Mr. O. Hawken (Egmont) and Mr. R. Masters (Stratford) j were included already.
