FAMILY OF MURDERERS.
BESTIAL FEROCITY SHOWN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Berlin, October 1. A father and two sons named Janowski, were condemned to death at Granden?; for a series of murders unparalleled in ferocity. They were assisted by other members of the family, including two daughters. The gang spread terror through the countryside. Armed with revolvers and axes, they attacked outlying farms and slaughtered all who opposed them. With bestial ferocity in four cases they murdered every inmate in the house, killing eight people with axes in one case, of whom four were children. They even tortured and mutilated some victims before killing them. ‘When captured by a patrol of mounted police, Janowski, senior, gloried in his infamy. Evidence •of 22 murders was given at the trial.
