BRITISH TRAINING SCHEME. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 30, 5.5 p.m. London, 'Sept. 29. The Government is subsidising a scheme'; for training domestic servants. It has con* tributed £50,000 towards the training for 13 weeks of girls, who are paid £1 weekly while attending the syllabus, which includes hygiene, infant welfare, general knowledge, t physical exercise, voice modulation, and singing.—United Service.
