ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A SOLICITOR’S SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. T. P. Walsh, a solicitor, and married, was found dead in his office last night, his head being over a gas-ring. He had previously threatened to commit suicide. Deceased was formerly a prominent footballer. MAN FOUND SHOT. Timaru. Last Night. On Saturday, a young man named Ebeaezer Vincent, a butcher at the Pareora freezing works, was found in a river-bed near the township with a bullet Wound in his forehead. He was removed to Timaru Hospital, where he was operated on. He was unconscious when he was admitted to the hospital at about 2 pm., and he was still in that state to-day, his condition being very serious. MOTOR-CAR FATALITY Dunedin, Last Night. George Robertson, 28 years of age, was killed at Hawea on Saturday night. Deceased and two companions were going to a ball, when their motor-car capsized.
