In the professional medical examinations held this month by the University of New Zealand, Mr. N. Quilliam completed the first professional examination in physiology and Mr. N. Waddle completed the first professional examination of anatomy. Both of the successful candidates hai’ from New Plymouth. The death of Mrs. (Elizabeth Roulston, relict of the late Mr. David Roulston, occurred last Monday at her daughter’s residence, Muritai, Eastbourne, "Wellington. She had reached the ripe age of 85 years, and was held in high esteem by all who know her. She lived for many years at Napier, after which she resided for several years at Ormondville, where her husband died. She is survived by five sons, Messrs Joseph and James Roulston (New Plymouth), Samuel Roulston (U.S.A.), Nathan Roulston (Papatoetoe), and Thomas Roulston (Waiata. Fielding), and also by three daughter, Mrs. R. Hislop (Wellington), Mrs. D. Wilson (Ormondville), and Mrs W. Rental (Hastuags?
