THE WAIKATO SEAT. By Telegraoh.—Press Association. To Awamutu, Sept. 23. Mr. J. T. Petri, until recently a member of the Waipa Post’s literary staff and formerly editor of the Greymouth Star, has been selected as official Liberal candidate for the Waikato seat. DUNEDIN LABOR CANDIDATES. Dunedin, Last Night. Mr. W. Brown, who was recently sei lected by the Otago Labor Representation Committee to contest the Dunedin Central seat in the interests of the Labor Party, has withdrawn, Mr. J. Gilchrist being selected in his stead. Mr. C. M. Moss, president of the Otago Labor Representation Committee, has been chosen to contest Dunedin West. •-
