DANGER NOT PASSED.
MR. MASSEY ON NEAR EAST. QUESTION OF MORATORIUM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. When speaking on finance in the House to-night, Mr. Massey said the question of money depended entirely on whether or not we were drawn into war. He hoped to heaven we would not be, and though he did not wish to play the part of a scale-monger he was bound to say we were not out of the bush yet. He did not propose to make a statement on the war position that night, •but he might do so to-morrow. If war came they might have to extend the moratorium, but on that point he could not make a definite promise.
