REBUILDING FRANCE.
PLANS TO CARRY OUT WORK. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 22, 8.5 p.m. Berlin, Sept. 21. It is reported a large German building material company has concluded an agreement with French building firms for the reconstruction of the French devastated regions, the German company to supply materials and settle accounts. The French Government is supporting the scheme, which is likely to employ 150,000 workmen. The French Labor Department has agreed to permit foreign labor, including German, up to 50 per cent, in Northern France.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
