President Harding has signed a joint Congressional resolution stating that the United States favours the establishment of Palestine as the national home of the Jewish people, it being understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of the Christian and all other non-Jewish communities in Palestine, and that holy places, religious buildings and sites shall be adequately protected. —Aus.-N.Z.
