De Valera is reported to be hiding in Dublin, and seeking, through an intermediary, to arrange a conference to discuss peace terms. THE CONSTITUTION BILL. London, Sept. 19. The Irish Free State Parliament unanimously carried the first reading or the Bill enacting the constitution. •SALARIES OF MINISTERS. Received Sept. 21, 7.50 p.m. London, Sept. 20. The Dai] Eireann has fixed salaries as follows: President, £2500; other Ministers and the Speaker, £1700; deputy Speaker, £lOOO. Members, other than Ministers and officials are to be allowed £3O a month for expenses and firstclass railway facilities ’between Dublin and their constituencies.
